ABUJA (Sundiata Post) – Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party., Mr. Damishi Sango, has singled out Rivers State Governor, Mr Nyesom Wike and his Ekiti state counterpart, Ayodele Fayose, for their doggedness in ensuring that PDP gets back to the right footing.
In his comments on the Supreme Courto judgement, which sacked Ali Modu Sheriff and reinstated Ahmed Makarfi, Sango said “So Sheriff is done for good. “
In his statement entitled ‘Court declares Ahmed Makarfi authentic Chairman of PDP… MY TAKE’, Sango said, “So Sheriff is done for good. I would love to see the face of the slippery character called Cairo Ojougboh who has been doing Sheriff’s dirty work.”
He added, “My only happiness here is that PERHAPS we can now see something of an organized opposition to the uselessness which APC has served Nigeria in the last two years.
“While I congratulate Ahmed Makarfi, I also congratulate Govs Fayose and Wike for staying in the forefront of this battle and never relenting in opposing APC rubbish.
“The victory today is victory for PDP and democracy. We must all unite and forge ahead to take over power in 2019. No Victor no vanquished.”
He said that the political battle for 2019 has begun in earnest.
