China Open: Djokovic beats Dimitrov to reach last four

Novak Djokovic has reached the semi-finals of the China Open after defeating Grigor Dimitrov 6-2 6-4.
The Serbian world number one, 27, closed out the first set in Beijing with a backhand crosscourt winner after Dimitrov had failed to take any of six break-point opportunities.
The Bulgarian, 23, was erratic throughout, committing 33 unforced errors and hitting only 17 winners.
Djokovic will play Britain’s Andy Murray or Marin Cilic in the last four. [eap_ad_2]
Dimitrov did break back when Djokovic was serving for the match at 5-3 in the second set but more errors allowed the Wimbledon champion to seal victory in one hour and 29 minutes.
The Serb has now won 22 consecutive matches at the China Open.   (BBC Sport) [eap_ad_3]
