Reports in the Birmingham Mail, claim West Brom are set to smash their transfer record, with the £10 million signing of Brown Ideye from Dynamo Kyiv.
The Nigerian international has held talks with the Premier League club and undergone a medical. All that is left for the move to be complete, is a work permit. Albion are however confident they can announce the deal early next week.

Ideye, who was dropped from Stephen Keshi’s 23-man squad to the 2014 World Cup, scored 33 goals in 74 games for the Ukranian club.
West Brom’s previous record transfer was £6million spent on Stephane Sessegnon last summer.
