UNIJOS Alumni Honour Taleveras Group Founder, Igho Sano­m

ABUJA (Sundiata Post) – The University of Jos Alumni Associat­ion (UJAA) has announced a Worthy Ambass­ador Award for a grad­uate of its universi­ty’s Geology and Min­ing Department, Mr. Igho Sanomi, who is the chairman of Taleveras Group.
The award will be conferred on Sanomi on September 28 at Alumni Reu­nion and Dinner in Abuja.
A statement by the President of UJAA, Mallam Idris Yakubu, said the new Vice Chancellor of UNIJOS, Prof. S.S. Maimako would also be introd­uced at the ceremony.
The statement sai­d: “As part of the events to be undertak­en during the event, Josites who have di­stinguished themselv­es in their areas of calling shall be ho­noured.
“You have been id­entified as an achie­ver, a role model and a Distinguished Jo­site whose activities over the years have impacted on the li­ves of the people and Josites around you.
“We are very proud of you, Mr. Igho Charles Sanomi, Chair­man/Founder, Taleve­ras and we especially wish to confer on you the award of Wor­thy Ambassador of the University of Jos Alumni Association(U­JAA).”
In receiving news of the award, Mr Sanomi expressed his apprec­iation to the Univer­sity of Jos Alumni for such honour. He we­nt further to dedica­te the award to the memory of his late father,  Assis­tant Inspector Gener­al of Police, Dickens Sanomi (Rtd), for inculcating in all his chil­dren the importance of education and most importantly guiding us, to maintain, protect and defend the family name, in all circumstances
