LAGOS – Col. John Agim, the Commandant, Nigerian Army School of Public Relations and Information (NASPRI), on Thursday said that the school would always take stringent measure and punishment against examination malpractices.
Agim made this known at the graduation ceremony of the NASPRI students at Bonny Camp, Lagos.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that 90 students comprising 65 Video Operators and 30 Graphic Designers graduated from the school.
“The paper of any student caught cheating during examination is usually cancelled.
“In fact, any student caught not doing his or her work independently during examination, usually losses the year,’’ he said.
Agim added that training at the school also included projecting the image of the military to the outside world.

He urged the graduating students to always project a good image whether in or out of uniform.
“The military is a very disciplined place and NASPRI is a discipline training ground because the students are already in the army,’’ he said.
Agim also advised the graduands to be more focused, adding that the course they have undergone would also help them even if they were out of the army. Maj. Emanuel Adeniyi, NASPRI Instructor, said he was happy with the conduct of the graduands while in the institute.
Pte. Eze Onyekachi emerged best student in A2 Video Operation, while Cpl. Yekini Abubakar emerged best student in Graphics. (NAN)
