Lagos – No fewer than 34 ships carrying petroleum products, food and other goods are expected to arrive at Apapa and Tin Can Island Ports, from Friday to July 30, says the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA).
The News Agency of Nigeria, (NAN) reports that not less than six of the 34 ships will sail in with petrol, while three ships are expected to arrive with diesel, butane gas and bulk gas.
The remaining 25 ships are carrying buckwheat, base oil, container carrying general cargo, frozen fish, soya beans, bulk fertiliser, steel and empty containers.
According to NPA, eight of the ships have arrived at the ports and are waiting to berth with bulk fertiliser, aviation fuel, diesel and petrol.
