GOMBE – The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Gombe Local Government Area in Gombe State has elected 33 ward delegates through consensus.
Speaking at the venue of the event in Gombe on Saturday, Alhaji Danyaya Mohammed, the electoral officer, said the local government had 11 wards each of which produced three delegates.
Mohammed said the deletes were expected to elect the party’s candidates during the primaries.
He said the members unanimously agreed for consensus following the development project of Gov. Ibrahim Dankwambo.
Mohammed called on the delegates to elect credible candidates during the primaries.
Dankwambo was at the venue of the election.
The other 10 local governments in the state were also expected to elect their delegates through consensus. (NAN)
