…Calls For Concerted Effort to the Struggle For the Emancipation of the Country

Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Engr. Soliu Badmos has added another feather to his cap as he was on Saturday, conferred with the prestigious “Nigerian Humanitarian Icon Award” by Our Majesty Global Publication.
The award was in recognition of his courageous strides and humanitarian services in the promotion of socio-economic development with strict adherence to the task of building a bridge across that mighty river flowing between economic slavery and land of general prosperity that we are waiting for ages.
In his welcome address, the Managing Editor of Our Majesty Global Publication, Mr. Sam Ugo said that Engr. Soliu Badmos represents Humanitarian Servant, Integrity, Legacy Maker, Sincerity, Selfless Servant, Accountablilitty and Epitome of Emulation.
According to him, the award serves as an avenue for the change oriented Nigerians and by extension, the world to network with like-minds, to further accelerate the process of humanitarian services and enhance the pace in the strength for total socio-economic redemption of our people.
While calling on the awardee to be sure that his selfless services will not go unnoticed, Mr Sam said, “I am certain that as you record more feats in your various areas of professional callings, you will continue to have your caps of honour and integrity decorated with more feathers.
He thanked Engr Badmos and commended him for his acts of courage and selfless services to humanity.
During the lecture presentation titled: “My People and My Pride: When I Live No More, the lecturer reminded that age is chemistry from the womb to the grave. He said we should perpetuate ourselves by affecting our world- the people around us and in every environment we find ourselves. He said that over time he has learnt to treat the nest person as the most important person on earth. Adding that, he sympathizes with people who treat their drivers, maids and drivers as slaves when indeed their safety and comfort depend on these ones.
The lecturer who said the purpose of the award is not just to encourage the recipients, but to inspire those around the recipients to also do good and to know that it pays to do good and live selflessly.
In his speech, Engr. Soliu Bare Badmos while expressing his appreciation for the award said he is overwhelmed with all the encomiums and dedicated the award to the Nigerian Youths. He said that the award shows that the Nigerian Youths are ready to take the mantle of leadership.
Engr. Badmos said that what the award shows is that people are watching and keeping record in the course of ones work unknown to him, urged youths to start and continue doing good wherever they find themselves and in whatever they do.
He therefore called for concerted effort to the struggle for the emancipation of the country.
Engr. Soliu Bare Badmos, an erudite Chemical Engineer and Administrator per excellence with special bias for renewable energy and bioresources development was born on the 25th March, 1978 to the family of Alhaji and Alhaja Gbadamosi.
He has shown an exemplary competence in the discharge of his responsibilities in the past and this capability has modeled his ability to manage and oversee the installations, running and commissioning of the cassava based fuel ethanol processing plant with the capacity to produce 1000 liters of hydrous grade ethanol (95%) per day using 6 tons of cassava tubers by the honorable Minister of Science and technology.
He has attended several courses, seminars and conferences around the world including India, China, Burkina Faso, Ghana to mention a few.
As a proof of his cosmopolitan professional exposure, Engr. Badmos belongs to several notable professional bodies, such as:
Member Nigeria Society Of Chemical Engineers (Nsche), Member Biotechnology Society Of Nigeria (BSN), Member America Institute Of Chemical Engineers, Member Nigerian Society Of Engineers (NSE) and Associate Member, Society for Energy Engineer & Managers (SEEM). Others are; Associate Member, Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA), Associate Member, Energy Management Centre (EMC) Kerala and Associate Member, Indian Society of Lighting Engineers (ISLE).
Bare, as fondly called by friends and colleagues is multi-talented Engineer with cosmopolitan exposure. In recognition of his enormous contribution towards attaining the mandate of the agency by the management, he was decorated and presented an award as the most dedicated staff in the year 2016 and Director Generals Merit award of excellence in 2017.
