PORT HARCOURT – The Rivers Government said on Monday that it would ensure that all ongoing projects in the state were completed before the end of the present administration. This is contained in statement by Mrs Ibim Seminetari, Commissioner for Information and Communication, in Port Harcourt. Semenitari said Gov. Chibuike Amaechi, would go round the 23 local government areas of the state to ensure that all ongoing projects were completed.
[eap_ad_1] “As we have entered the last lap of our administration, it is imperative that we go round to see what gaps are remaining in our quest to guarantee the lives of the present and future generations.’’ Semenitari also quoted Amaechi as saying the tour would be “non-partisan, non-political’’ and would be generally for Rivers people to ensure good governance. She called on the people of the state to cooperate with the government and ensure that the projects were completed within the last lap of the administration. “We will want all Rivers people to come out in this tour to enable us make our final push to complete our mandate and deliver on our promises to them,’’ she said.
