The Vice Chancellor, Prof Abdullahi Ribadu, said that 139 students were admitted into the Faculty of Education, while 329 and 315 students were admitted into the Faculties of the Humanities and Sciences, respectively.

“By the 2015/2016 session, the university will be enlisted in the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) Brochure.
“Prospective students will then seek admission through JAMB,’’ he said.
According to him, the state government has provided modern facilities to enhance teaching and learning in the university.
He advised the students to dedicate themselves to their studies, in line with the institution’s resolve to promote academic excellence.
The VC also urged the new students to observe approved dress codes, shun examination malpractice and other negative vices.
