Berlin- Germany’s record scorer and World Cup champion Miroslav Klose is unhappy at being a reserve with Serie A side Lazio and wants talks on his future, it was reported on Monday.
“I feel healthy and fit, therefore, I want to play more,’’ the 36-year-old was quoted as saying by Bild newspaper.
“I’m definitely not happy with the current situation because I have other sporting goals.’’
Klose was on the bench for Lazio’s 0-0 draw at Chievo on Saturday and was introduced only in the 83rd minute.
He has scored three times in 11 league appearances this season.
“I’m going to talk to Lazio officials and we’ll see how it goes,’’ he added.
Klose’s current contract with the Rome club runs to summer 2015. (dpa/NAN)
