ITF trains 113 youths in Jigawa- Official

DUTSE – Mallam Abdu Abdullah, the Principal, Dutse Skill Acquisition and Training Centre, says the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) is training 113 youths in different trade in Jigawa.
Abdullah, who made the statement on Wednesday in Dutse in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), said the youths were being trained in five skill acquisition centres across the state.
He said the youths, who consisted of 36 females and 77 males drawn from the 27 local government areas of the state.
He said the 36 female trainees were being trained in tailoring, 46 males in carpentry while the other 31 males were receiving training on welding.
Abdullahi said the trainees were being paid monthly allowance of N5,000 each by the ITF, adding that the training which commenced in October would end in December. (NAN)
