Abuja – An Italy-based consortium of Technological Partners and Solution Providers on Wednesday, congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari on his re-election at the recent general elections in Nigeria.
In a congratulatory message to the president, copy of which was made available to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja, Head of the group, Prof. Vincenzo Naso, urged him to remain focused on his economic recovery policies.
He also advised the president to maintain standards that would keep development of the country as conceptualised by his administration, on track.
Naso particularly commended the administration for its determination to give agriculture prime attention to ensure that the country produced its food substantially.
He urged Buhari to use his second term to consolidate on his achievements and improve on the nation’s all-round infrastructure.
Naso pledged the group’s support to the Federal Government’s effort at building a comprehensive and integrated database for the country, through Basic Registry and Information System in Nigeria (BRISIN).
He also commended the government for its favourable disposition towards issues of persons living with disability, and called for more support to the office of Senior Special Adviser to the President on Disability.
“ Our team is ready to work by your side to see Nigeria through to the next level.
“We are at your disposal to work with National Technical/Implementation Committee of BRISIN to attain your development objectives,” he said.
