A 27 year old lady, Hannatu Mohammed is on the board of Independent Corrupt Practises Commission (ICPC).
This appointment is eliciting a lot of reactions on social media, especially with regard to her supposed inexperience.
But interestingly, the ICPC Act requires that a young person below the age of 30 must be in that board before it is properly constituted. Section 3 of ICPC Act.

The act is also silent about the experience required. So, it is an appointment in order. The real question is why doesn’t the law mandate on experience required.
