Badagry (Lagos State) – The Police on Wednesday arraigned three men in a Badagry Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos for allegedly stealing N300,000.
The accused — Sodiq Musa, 19; Segun Oladega, 22; and Nurudeen Owoseni, 25; all of no fixed address, are facing a charge of stealing, an offence they denied.
The Prosecutor, ASP. Akpam Ikem, told the court that the defendants committed the offence sometime on May 14, at about 10:11a.m, at Isamole Area of Ilogbo-Eremi Town, Lagos.
Ikem said that the defendants stole N300, 000, belonging to one Mrs Mariam Ajibola.
He said that the offence contravened Section 287 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
The Chief Magistrate, Mr Patrick Adekomaya, admitted the defendants to bail in the sum of N100, 000 each, with two sureties in like sum.
He adjourned the case until July 16, for further hearing.
