BAUCHI – Gov. Isa Yuguda of Bauchi State has called on Christians and Muslims to strengthen the existing friendship between them to ensure peaceful co-existence in the state.
Yuguda made the call in a Christmas message to the people of the state in Bauchi on Wednesday.
He also called on the people to imbibe the spirit of love and forgiveness as Jesus Christ who preached peace and love throughout his life time.
He urged Christians and Muslims to exchange visits between themselves and with adherent of other faith during Christmas and New Year.
The governor assured that government would continue to ensure that the lives and property of the citizenry were protected.
He, therefore, wished the people a Christmas and prosperous New Year in advance. (NAN)
