Kaduna- The Kaduna State Government has called on citizens to emulate the teachings of Jesus Christ in their daily conduct.
Amb. Nuhu Bajoga, the state Deputy Governor, made the call at a special church service to commemorate this year’s Christmas on Thursday in Kaduna.
The service was held at the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA Church), Anguwar Gwari, Kaduna.
Bajoga stressed that central teachings of Jesus Christ was peace and salvation, and urged Christians to emulate his virtues.
He advised people of the state to obtain their voters card and ensure that they exercise their franchise in the general elections by voting credible leaders.
Besides, he urged the people to conduct themselves peacefully to ensure successful 2015 polls.
The deputy governor also called on clerics to preach peace and tolerance to their followers to enable the state government deliver the dividends of democracy to them. (NAN)
