ABUJA – COVID-19 is gradually but steadily pushing its way further into Nigeria with 23 new cases reported late on Monday night by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.
The new infections happened in Lagos, Kano, Edo, Ogun and Ondo states.
On a happy note, however, the number of discharged patients moved up to 91 from 85 on Sunday following the earlier announcement on Monday of the discharge of six patients form Lagos.
The number of deaths remained 10.
