“We have just concluded the 2014 batch three training for our arms squad and this is with a view to ensuring better security of lives and property in the FCT,’’ he said.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”8″]
Akinbinu said that the FCT Commandant of the NSCDC, Mr Aminu Kofarsoro, warned the personnel on the need to be diligent and avoid any case of “accidental discharge’’ in the course of their duty.
He warned that any personnel caught in any unprofessional conduct especially with arms would be appropriately sanctioned.
On this year’s general elections, he assured of the corps readiness to provide security toward a hitch-free poll.
The official called on Nigerians to continue to cooperate with security agencies in order to curb insurgency and ensure peace and stability in the country. (NAN)
