ABUJA – Lagos on Friday continued to maintain its unenviable status as the epicentre of coronavirus in Nigeria as the country moved close to hit the 4,000 mark in confirmed COVID-19 cases. The total figure for Nigeria as at Friday night is 3,912 confirmed COVID-19 cases.
According to the daily update by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), there were 386 new cases on Friday out of which Lagos reported 176, followed by Kano with 65 new cases.
Katsina and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) had 31 and 20 respectively.
