Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki has emerged the flagbearer of the Peoples Democratic Party to fly the party’s flag in the September governorship election in the state.
He scored 1,952 votes out of 2,024 votes cast.
Recall that Pastor Osagie Ize -Iyamu had earlier in the week emerged the flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress primary in the state.
Governor Godwin Obaseki and Pastor Ize-Iyamu are the two strong contenders in the Edo governorship election scheduled to hold in September.
