“Any aggrieved party who is not satisfied with the contents of this judgment is free to file an appeal’’ Adebiyi ruled.
The petitioner, who resides at Sola Okiki St.,Offin in Ikorodu, in his petitioner for divorce, said his wife, whom he described as “troublesome woman’’ was in the habit of unjustifiably provoking him.
“My wife’s trouble-making habit is becoming unbearable for me; she is always accusing me of having extra marital affairs with my neighbour.
“In fact, none of her family visits her any longer because she refuses to listen to corrections.
“ I now reside inside the mosque because of her uncontrollable provocations.
“I want this court to separate us before I begin to batter her,’’ Abdulrahmon pleaded with the court.
Responding, his wife maintained her allegation of her husband’s infidelity, and accused him of having an affair with their unmarried neighbour.
“The beginning of the problem in our marriage was the extra affair my husband was having with our neighbour.
“My husband had been sleeping and dining in that woman’s apartment and the last time I accused him, he beat me with a cane and was detained by the police after I lodged a report.
“Since then, he wanted me out of his life; but please help me beg him, I promise to amend my ways, ’’Nimotalai, pleaded with the court.(NAN)
