on Saturday called on the companies in area to provide parking spaces for their vehicles.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]
The Zonal Commander of the Corps, Mr Ajibade Adekunle, made the call in an interview with the News [pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]

Adekunle said that indiscriminate parking of vehicles on the major roads had hindered free flow of traffic and sometimes led to road crashes.
He said that there was the need for the companies to cooperate with the traffic officials in the effort to [pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]
reduce gridlock in Sango-Ota and its evirons.
“The indiscriminate parking of vehicles due to concentration of industries in Sango-Ota, had been one of the challenges confronting traffic officials,” Adekunle said.
He observed that some of the companies’ vehicles which came from the Northern and Western parts of the country were not provided with parking spaces.
He said the state government had given an order that any vehicles parked indiscriminately on the major roads should be removed at the expense of the owners. (NAN)
