Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Rivers state on Saturday led the COVID-19 table with 42 cases as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control confirmed 160 fresh infections in the country.
Releasing the report via it’s twitter handle, the NCDC said total confirmed cases have risen to 59,287 while 50,718 COVID-19 patients have been discharged.
The health agency also confirmed that 1,113 deaths have recorded since the index case in February 27, 2020.
According to the report by the agency, the 160 fresh infections were recorded by the following states including the FCT:

Lagos-32
Plateau-21
FCT-18
Kaduna-14
Ogun-11
Katsina-10
Kwara-3
Ondo-3
Imo-3
Anambra-1
Abia-1
Oyo-1
