Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The latest COVID-19 report has it that Lagos State and the FCT came first and second on the chart with 308 and 207 infections respectively as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control Saturday confirmed 920 new cases in Nigeria.
According to the report released via twitter handle, the NCDC said other states where infections were recorded are as follows:

Adamawa-26
Sokoto-18
Rivers-16
Yobe-15
Enugu-13
Kano-13
Ogun-12
Delta-10
Edo-5
Osun-3
Oyo-3
Anambra-2

77,933 confirmed
67,784 discharged
1,218 deaths.
The health agency further stated that the total confirmed cases have risen to 77,933 while 67,784 patients have been discharged from across the various isolation facilities in Nigeria.
It added that 1,218 lives have been lost to COVID-19 related ailments since the index case was reported in February 27 this year.
