PORT HARCOURT (Sundiata Post) – Eze S.E. Ukaegbu, Ehi 1 of Okehi Kingdom has described Dr. Dakuku Peterside as a public servant extraordinaire who possesses what it takes to better the uncommon achievements of Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi. According to the monarch, even before the election, it is already evident that the APC candidate can effectively steer Rivers State to peace, progress and unity because of his track record as a humble and conscientious leader who cares about the common good.
The royal father said this when Amaechi, Peterside, party officials and supporters paid a courtesy call on him at his palace shortly after their campaign at State School, Okehi in Etche Local Government Area of Rivers State. Eze Ukaegbu who prayed for the candidate after an endorsement from the kingdom assured him of their support. He also urged Peterside to continue to worship God and to make the Almighty the centre of his government.
“Your Excellencies, our promise of support will manifest once the elections start, that is when we shall put into practice, that promise. Governor Amaechi brought a lot of positive changes in the life of our state but I am very confident that Peterside is that change we can see in view of the coming gubernatorial election”.

Responding, Peterside promised not to betray the high confidence and expectations of Rivers people, urging them to turn out en masse and vote for APC so that he can realise the lofty objectives of his all-inclusive roadmap to prosperity.
The monarch later handed over to the APC candidate, two gifts: a Holy Bible and a lantern, which symbolically represents truth, wisdom and light.
