MUNICH – German engineering giant Siemens, will slash a total of 7,800 jobs as a part of a global restructuring, with 3,300 job cuts occurring in Germany, the company said on Friday.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]
The Head of Human Resources, Janina Kugel said the company would shortly begin talks with workers’ unions in order to negotiate the terms of settlement.
The Chief Executive Officer, Joe Kaeser first announced the restructuring in May.
