Chinese, Saudi companies to launch 13 digital media projects worth $600m

China’s company, Whale Cloud, has entered into partnership with Saudi Arabia’s Shamas Holding Company, to launch 13 digital media projects with a budget of 600 million dollars.

According to Sabq electronic newspaper on Wednesday, the partnership is expected the have a revenue of around one billion dollars in the coming three to five years.

Whale Could, a pioneer company in digital clouds and technologies, will help the Saudi company in the development of its Saudi Media City.

“Several technologies, including security smart parking, cloud data, will be implemented in the city.

The two partners will also promote the development of the media industry in the Middle East and North Africa region.

The development which includes the latest digital cloud techniques, multimedia and smart technology, is to provide high-quality Arabic media content.
