The House of Representatives yesterday urged the Inspector-General of Police to thoroughly investigate the disappearance of five engineers who were abducted in Ebonyi State on November 3.
The House mandated the Committee on Police Affairs to ensure compliance, following a motion by Hon. Ifeanyi Chudy Momah.
The House noted that on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, five engineers from NELAN Consultants, who were supervising the Abakiliki Ring Road Project, were abducted at Onu-Nwenewo village in Ohaukwu Local Government Area of the state.
