ABUJA – The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Tuesday nominated Iduma Enwo Igariwey to replace David Umahi as the governor of Ebonyi State.
A report by Nigerian Tribune this Tuesday evening, March 8, 2022, said the decision announced by the national chairman of the party, Dr Iyorchia Ayu, followed the judgment Federal High Court in Abuja, which sacked Umahi and his deputy Kelechi Igwe.
“Ayu told journalists in Abuja that Mr Fred Udeogu has also been nominated as deputy governor,” the report said.
