Heartland FC’s Onuh looks to strength squad

Heartland FC technical adviser, Erasmus Onuh Olottah has stated he is still on the look-out for a squad that can guarantee him victory in subsequent games beginning with this weekend’s NPFL’s Match Day 3 tie against Nasarawa United of Lafia.  The Owerri based outfit defeated 3SC 2-1 away in their last game and they will be hoping to to continue with their impressive form when they face Nasarawa United.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]

Media officer of the club, Cajetan Nkwopara disclosed that the coach has refused to celebrate after the hard fought victory in Ibadan citing some flaws noticed among some of his lads in the game.

“I thank God for giving us victory against 3SC but I’m not impressed altogether with some of the things I saw in that match. My boys did well but there were instances I had to shout off my head trying to correct them. I’ll try to correct those flaws before our next game against Nasarawa. I want a team that I’ll be very sure of, a team that will follow my instructions to the later.”

While acknowledging that 3SC was a good side, coach Onuh said Heartland could have won by a higher margin if his players had adhered strictly to his instructions but promised to package a stronger squad that would produce good result without having to first give him an heartache.

The management of the Owerri based side has also been working to make  it easier for the fans to return to the fully covered terraces by declaring a free entry to popular sides while only the State box and VIP seats will attract  N5,000 and N2,000 gate-fees respectively.
