In a remarkable display of culinary endurance, Nigerian chef Adeyeye Adeola, popularly known as Chef Deo, has successfully completed a 150-hour cook-a-thon in her bid to break the Guinness World Record for the longest continuous cooking session.
Undeterred by the challenges that came her way, Chef Adeola has decided to continue her cooking marathon, which commenced on June 30th in Ondo state, Nigeria.
Updating her followers on social media, an elated Chef Deo shared a post on her official Instagram page, stating, “150 hours and still counting. The journey was rough but we pulled through.”
The dedicated chef demonstrated unwavering determination and perseverance throughout her grueling culinary feat.
Chef Adeola’s achievement comes on the heels of Hilda Baci being officially recognized as the new Guinness World Record holder for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.
Baci cooked for an impressive 93 hours and 11 minutes, setting a high bar for culinary enthusiasts worldwide.
