Dolphins coach, Stanley Eguma will be pleased if his side progress to the final of the 2014 Federation Cup.
Dolphins will take on Prime FC in Abuja on Thursday and in the first semifinal. Eguma, who believes his side will be the better of the Osogbo club wants Enyimba to progress to the final from the other semifinal.
“We know Prime very well and I am sure we will beat them. We are not underrating them but I am very sure of our chances.[eap_ad_2]
“It will be great if we get to play against Enyimba in the final because I believe that is the game everyone wants to see.
“The two clubs have great pedigree in this competition and have proved we are the best this year,” he told supersport.com.
The experienced trainer then took the time to discuss what he described as the “fading glamour” of the Federation Cup – Nigeria’s oldest football competition.
“The fading glamour associated with the Federation Cup is a thing of concern. These days, you only get a little bit of fanfare during the final match and it was not the same in the past.
“I hope that things get better in the years to come,” he said.
