Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Plateau State is one of the States that gave the Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi one of its highest votes during the February 2023 presidential elections.
Expectedly, they looked forward to the Election Tribunal panel sitting in Abuja to deliver Judgement in favour of Peter Obi who they believed so much that he won the election but was robbed.
Before now, the Plateau citizens irrespective of party affiliation have clinched their hope on the Tribunal which they believed so much that it is the hope of the common man.
However, As the Tribunal outcome favours President Tinubu and the APC the sad mood was immediately felt among the people of the state.
Being televised on a live broadcast, the Plateau people who already known the outcome began raining insults on the judiciary and the federal government.
Some of them on some active social media platforms housing the State citizens have been posting words like, “My Children will not study law in this country”, while some are saying “l will study law as my second degree to change the narratives”.
“The Judiciary has compromised after collecting huge money from the presidency”, they citizens say.
Some concerned citizens who spoke with our correspondent on the streets said that they knew nothing good would come out of the Tribunal.
“We have entered one chance in this country.
“How can the judges be providing evidence for the defendant?
“If these judges don’t suffer for what they are doing in this country, their children will”, a concerned politician said.
