Abuja (Sundiata Post) – A Jos based business man, Amb. Nelson Mkparu has rejoiced with Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State and the entire people of the State, saying that his victory at the Tribunal is a testament of the wishes of the electorate.
The industrialist who is the sole indigenous manufacturer of UPVC, PVC and Boreholes Casing pipes in Nigeria, called on citizens, political elites to embrace togetherness and build a peaceful and prosperous Plateau.
He said now that the Tribunal judgement is over it is time to formulate policies that will lead the State to greater ambience that will make her the industrial hub of the country.
Describing the Governor’s victory as “a new dawn of renewed hope for the people”, Mkparu said: “Mutfwang’s victory has put the enemies of the State to shame.
“I extend courtesy to all Plateau people for making history and rendering nugatory the dark prophecies of workers of iniquity.
“The People have exhibited uncommon resilience in the face of extreme provocation orchestrated by the enemies of Plateau to frustrate the whole process.
“Their determination has put them to shame.
“I must also thank, most profoundly, the good people of Plateau for the remarkable impact which their participation has had on the whole process.”
Mkparu further added that Muftwang’s victory is a tribute to the resilience of the Nigerian people whose votes made it possible.
“This victory is a much deserved triumph, reflecting the connection between dedicated effort and reward.”
However, the ruling PDP has a duty to repay this faith by providing purposeful governance that delivers progressive outcomes for all citizens of the State, Mkparu said.
He praised President Bola Tinubu for not interfering with the Tribunal judgement, saying that the President’s actions demonstrates that he believes in the rule of law.
