Birnin Kebbi- The collation of the results of Saturday’s presidential and National Assembly elections is ongoing at designated centres in Birnin Kebbi, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.
NAN reports that the election results were being collated in Birnin Kebbi, Dandi and Zuru for the Central, North and South Senatorial Districts respectively.
Alhaji Mohammed Kebbe, the Director of Public Affairs of INEC, said that the collation officers were, however, expected to forward the results of the presidential election to the commission’s headquarters.

“The submission of the results by the collation officers would signal the commencement of the compilation of the final presidential election results,’’ he added.
NAN reports that voting, counting of votes and collation of results in some polling units lasted till the early hours of Sunday due to the delay in the commencement of accreditation and voting on Saturday. (NAN)
