PORT HARCOURT (Sundiata Post) – Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has issued an executive order relocating the sitting of the State House of Assembly to the Auditorium of the Administrative section of Government House, Port Harcourt.
“The order is in pursuant of the burning of the hallowed chambers of the State Assembly in October 2023 by hoodlums,” a Government House statement said last night, Friday, May 10, 2024.
The statement however explained that the relocation is temporary.
