Sundiata Post – Two Nigerian illegal migrants were on Sunday night arrested in the Nigerian camp at Muna, where pilgrims are camped for the five-day Hajj in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Illegal migrants, Muhammed Umar and Nazifi Tasi’u Garba, according to the Hajj commission, were intercepted at about 8:20pm Saudi time (6:30pm, Nigerian time) for infiltrating pilgrims’ tents.
The Infiltration, according to NAHCON central security committee, had raised concerns overstretched accommodation and thefts.
The illegal migrants were consequently handed over to Saudi police “where their biometrics were obtained and a fine of Ten Thousand Saudi Riyal (10,000 SAR) was imposed on them to be paid whenever they are leaving the country (Saudi Arabia)”.
It was gathered that the exhibit recovered from the suspects included fake documents.
