Sundiata Post – Police officers in the UK have been attacked with petrol bombs.
This comes following violent unrest and disorder across many parts of the United Kingdom, UK.
The protests continued on Monday night with police officers calming the situation coming under attack in Belfast, Darlington and Plymouth when the protesters descended on them.
According to BBC news, no fewer than six people were arrested in Plymouth, while several police officers suffered minor injuries in the violence.
The protesters in South Belfast threw stones and petrol bombs at riot officers in an area close to a supermarket, which had already been set on fire at the weekend.
A vigil was earlier held for the victims of a mass stabbing in Southport last week, which sparked the current unrest.
About 400 people have been arrested by security operatives since the rioting began.
