Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The Supreme Court has set aside the judgment of the Court of Appeal in Abuja, which recognized Julius Abure as the National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP).
The Supreme court said courts should stop interfering on internal political issues as it is exclusively a party affair.
It said political parties reserve the right to choose who they want as leader.
Recall that an Appeal Court in Abuja had earlier affirmed Abure as the Chairman of the Party.
The Supreme has, however, dismissed the Appeal court judgement.
