KIRIKASAMMA (JIGAWA) – The Yaban-Fulani community in Kirikasamma Local Government Council of Jigawa have called on the state government to rehabilitate the Busuku bridge to enhance road communication in the area.
The spokesman for the community, Mallam Muhammad Bello, made the call when members of the community visited the elected-member, state house of assembly, Alhaji Aliyu Madachi, in Kirikasamma.
Bello said that the community was cut-off four years ago after flood washed away the bridge, adding that the situation had exposed them to difficulties.

He noted that the rehabilitation of the bridge would link the community to adjourning villages and ease movement of farm produce to markets.
Bello also called on the government to construct a clinic at Doleri village to enhance healthcare delivery at the grassroots.
“We do not have health facility at Doleri ward despite the large population,” he said.
Responding, Madachi pledged to make good representation to government to facilitate rehabilitation of the bridge, construction of the clinic and provision of safe drinking water in the communities. (NAN)
