Katsina, July 7, 2015 (NAN) The Katsina State Housing Authority (KHA) said it generated N2 billion from housing development levies.
The outgoing General Manager of KHA, Alhaji Aminu Makera disclosed this on Tuesday in Katsina while handing over to the new General Manager, Alhaji Salisu Abubakar.

He said that the state government had constructed over 901 houses during the past three years of his tenure.
Makera said that houses were sold to people at subsidised rate to assist residents own houses.
He commended staff of the authority for the support they gave him during his tenure.
In his remarks, the new General Manager, Abubakar pledged to operate an open door policy and carry all stakeholders along.
Abubakar also thanked Gov. Aminu Masari for giving him the mandate to serve the state in that capacity.
He promised to work hard so as to move the state forward in the area of housing development.
Abubakar also solicited the support and cooperation of staff and the general public to move the state forward. (NAN)
