ABEOKUTA – The third edition of the annual Ogun State/GT Bank Principals’ Cup final matches start on Tuesday at the MKO Abiola International Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta, the State capital, commencing from 10am.
The state governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, will perform the traditional kick-off ceremony for the male category, while his wife, Mrs Olufunso Amosun will do same for the female category.
The third place match in the female category is between St. Anthony Grammar School, Ijebu Mushin and Our Lady of Apostle Senior Secondary School, Ijebu-Ode, while the male category will be a clash between Asero Senior High School and Ode Remo High School, Ode Remo.
The final matches (Female Category) will feature United Comprehensive High School versus Muslim High School, Isolu, while the male category will be between St. Anthony’s Grammar School, Ijebu Mushin and Pakoto Senior High School, Ifo.
The football competition in the male and female categories is meant to unearth hidden talents in the various Secondary Schools in the State.
