Lokoja – Rep. Tajudeen Yusuf, a member, House of Representatives representing Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency of Kogi, on Saturday promised to give top priority to education of his people.
Yusuf, who made gave the promise in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lokoja, said that there was no better time than now.
He noted that his back to school summer studies was a way of contributing to the lives and educational development of children in his constituency.
According to him, education plays a very vital role in the development and growth of the society.
He advised that children should be given the attentions they deserved to enable them get better education.
Yusuf, however, urged children to always pay attention to their studies, saying that whatever knowledge was gained would go a long way to help them.
He admonished government at all levels to improve on the standard of education to enable the country produce great intellectuals.
“I want to use this opportunity to call on the people in my constituency to attend the summer classes for the sake of their future career.
