The All Progressives Congress, APC, House of Representatives candidate for Ukanafun/Oruk Anam federal constituency, Akwa-Ibom State, Mr Eshiet Offiong, has petitioned the Inspector General of Police, Mr Solomon Arase, over alleged threat to his life.
Offiong, in the petition by his lawyer, Felix Udoh, alleged that his life was being threatened by a member of House of Representatives in Abuja.
He said: “On May 6, 2015, at 9.45p.m., and 10.15p.m, Mr Namso Udorok, the APC collation agent in Ward 13, Oruk Anam Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, received a call wherein the House of Reps member threatened to deal with our client.

“At 8a.m., on May 7, the said Reps member through the same number 07068122614 called Mr Udorok stressing and reaffirming his decision to deal with our client and all those who were APC agents in Ukunafun/Oruk Anam federal constituency election held on March 28, 2015.”
