ABUJA (Sundiata Post) – Ihuoma Julia Nneji, the 34-year-old daughter of ABC Transport founder Frank Nneji, has alleged that the Nigeria Police Force declared her wanted without prior invitation, notification, or any form of communication regarding a petition.
Her name and photograph were recently published in a Special Police Gazette Bulletin issued by the Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Centre (NPF-NCCC) in Abuja.
Nneji faces allegations of criminal defamation, injurious falsehood, and cyberstalking. However, she maintains that the accusations are baseless and stem from a personal grudge held by her ex-fiancé, Henry Uzochukwu.
In a statement released over the weekend, Nneji expressed her disbelief at being listed as wanted without any official notice.
“I was never invited, questioned, or informed about any complaint,” she stated. “To wake up and see my name on a wanted list was shocking, humiliating, and deeply unfair.”
She recounted that her troubles began after she met Uzochukwu in April 2024, with their relationship moving quickly toward marriage.
However, Nneji called off their planned November 2024 wedding in August of that year after making what she described as “disturbing revelations” about his personal life.
“This conflict began when I called off our wedding after uncovering unresolved issues regarding Henry’s sexuality,” Nneji revealed.
“I found incriminating evidence suggesting he is gay and decided not to proceed with the marriage.”
Further inquiries, according to her, uncovered a troubling pattern in Uzochukwu’s past.
“I discovered that not only did he have an interest in men, but he had also been engaged multiple times without revealing why those engagements failed,” she said.
“In fact, the woman he was supposed to marry before me left him just a week before their wedding over the same issue.”
Following the breakup, Nneji alleged that she became the target of harassment, threats, and false accusations by Uzochukwu.
“Since the wedding cancellation, Henry has relentlessly harassed and threatened me,” she claimed.
“He falsely accused me of running an Instagram page spreading rumours about him — a claim that is speculative and completely untrue.”
Nneji stressed that she has never been involved in defamation, blackmail, or stalking, either through her verified social media platforms or elsewhere.
“I have always conducted myself with integrity,” she asserted.
“The real victim here is me. I am being punished for refusing to go ahead with a marriage built on deception.”
She called on the Nigeria Police Force to respect due process and ensure a fair hearing.
“I urge the authorities to thoroughly investigate the matter and hear my side of the story before reaching any conclusions,” Nneji appealed.
