MBAISE – The chairman of Aboh Mbaise Local Government Council in Imo State, Mr. Emma Njoku, has assured the people of Uvuru of his readiness to make government’s presence to be felt in the area.
The council chairman made the promise on Friday when he received the Executive Committee of Uvuru Communities Development Union (UCDU) led by the President-General, Mr. Chimaroke Ben Nnaji.
Njoku was delighted that the UCDU executives paid him a visit and thanked them for the gesture.
Earlier, Nnaji had assured the Aboh Mbaise council boss of Uvuru people’s support for his administration.
He thanked Njoku for the ongoing intervention at Orie Uvuru Market and urged him to see to its successful completion.
The UCDU delegation included Chief Goddy Madugba, Nze Ben Otti, Mr. Peter Claver Nwaiwu, Mr Kennedy Nnaji, Mr Eze Imoh, Chief Linus Ibeh and Chief Monday Odoemena.
