“The event, which will feature a mixture of classic and comedy music, will be interactive,’’ she said.

Toledo said the AMEMUSO choir would perform at the concert under the supervision of its conductor, Mr Samuel Ezugwu.

“Ezugwu will perform alongside the great Peruvian tenor singer based in Germany, Mr Rafael Cavero,’’ she said.

The AMEMUSO founder also said the event would feature the prominent Swedish soprano and Director of the Opera Comedy Theatre, Mrs Charlotta Huldt.

“Other expected to feature at the night of songs and comedy included a Nigerian opera singer from the MUSON Centre, Miss Nkiru Andrews.

“An opera pianist, Doriana Tchakarova, and the Orchestra Conductor, Mr Micheal Vollhardt who will initiate the formation of the AMEMUSO Orchestra, will also attend the event.

“The group will be performing an unusual and magical night of opera in the most different and entertaining way never seen or heard of,’’ she said.

Speaking also at the occasion, the General Manager of Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Etienne Gailliez, commended Toledo and the AMEMUSO group for their doggedness.

“We at Hilton Abuja are proud to be associated with the group. It is the best musical event of the year, and it is part of our social responsibility to the community’’.
