Adeleke: Osun Declares 3-day Mourning

Abuja (Sundiata Post) –  Osun State governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has declared 3-day mourning period in honour of Mr. Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke.

He made the declaration in a statement signed by Mr. Samiu Okanlawon, Director, Bureau of Communication and Strategy, and sent to Sundiata Post.

Adeleke, the first civilian governor of Osun State, died at the early hours of Monday, April 24, 2017.

“Throughout the 3-day mourning period, all flags are to fly half mast”, the statement added.

Sundiata Post recalls that late Adeleke was a senator representing Osun West Senatorial District under the platform of the All Progressive Congress before his death in the early hours of monday.
