Mr Anthony Eromosele Arabome, senior vice president of the African Finance Corporation (AFC) has been elected president of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) at the 47th annual general meeting (AGM) of the institute held in Lagos recently.
Arabome has more than 30 years’ experience in both technical and management levels in the human resource management profession, across the oil and gas and financial services sector. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Ife plus several management and leadership programmes of the University of Michigan USA, IMD Switzerland, Cornell University USA and INSEAD.

His experience spans across leading global multilateral institutions, one of which is Shell Nigeria where he served as the human resource director, SNEPCO) and talent, resourcing and development manager for Shell’s Africa regional business prior to joining the AFC. He also holds post graduate diplomas (PGDs) in HR management from Kingston Regional Management Centre, United Kingdom including Occupational Testing and Psychometrics, Theology and Leadership.
Mr Udom Uko Inoyo, executive director, Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited also emerged the vice president of the body. A lawyer and administrator, he holds bachelor degrees in political science and law from the University of Calabar.
Inoyo is a fellow of the CIPMN.
